OVERVIEW
A charming, three story guesthouse in the eastern quarter of the city’s old medina, La Maison Marrakech is a design lovers dream. With three artfully decorated double bedrooms and accompanying ensuites, the riad sleeps up to six people and is intended to be booked for private use. After a day of exploring the Red City, retreat to the courtyard for a dip in the refreshing plunge pool or to the rooftop for the last rays of sun and to enjoy mint tea by the cozy fireplace. Although La Maison is an AirBnb and not a full-service riad, the property’s caretaker prepares breakfast daily as well as ensures guests have everything they need.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Every detail of La Maison feels as though it tells a story, thanks to the owner’s careful curation over the years. Each nook and corner is stylishly finished with eclectic furniture and decor, sourced from the neighbouring souks, from flea markets and from local artisans. We love the washed out colours, beautiful Moroccan textiles and the potted cacti and plants thoughtfully scattered throughout the charming guesthouse.
